About John
I live and work in beautiful Palm Springs, right at the foot of Mount San Jacinto. After twenty five years in San Francisco, I moved to the desert in 2000. It's a quiet, breathtakingly beautiful place where thousands come to enjoy the sunny weather or to recover from illness or addiction. The stark and simple grandeur of the landscape reminds us to look inward, for it is there that we find our paradise.
Although I first learned to meditate thirty years ago, only in the last few years have I come to fully appreciate its power to heal, to rejuvenate, to calm, to uplift. I have been a student of metaphysics, and of Tarot in particular, for two decades. Sometimes by the straight path, sometimes by the winding one, my life has led me to realize that I could use my own intuition to help other people to develop theirs. Our inner teacher never compels, but is always there to aid and comfort.
If you've read the rest of this website, you already know that I think that stargazing, drawing and painting, gardening and yoga are some of the best experiences that life has to offer. I also sometimes work for conservation of nature and preservation of historic architecture. As I have begun to live my dream, I hope that I can help you to find yours.
